Our 4 to 8 day equitable Programs preferably run between July and September (not as rainy period) or all year. Prices vary according to the program, its duration, the ethnic group and the number of people.
The Indigenous communities offer you accommodation in single cabins or huts or in different camps in the middle of the forest, with a limited comfort or according to the community’s way of life you will stay with and the level of immersion you wish to experience. They are accessible by motorized or paddle canoes, on foot or by small planes.
Activities included in our programs according to the Indigenous Community, the region, the duration of your stay:
• Daily-light and nocturnal walks and trips in motorized or paddle canoes, in the middle of the Amazonian primary or secondary forest to discover its flora : thousand year trees, medicinal plants, its fauna: birds, monkeys, dolphins, insects, amphibians and the forest noises…
• Building a raft and going down the river on a raft or a canoe.
• Swimming and traditional Piranha (or other) fishing in rivers or lakes
• Meeting a « shaman » (doctor of the Amazonian forest)
• Discovering the ethnic hand-craft, visit of the wild animal sanctuary
• Experiencing the visited Community’s way of life and cultural exchange: discovery of its legends, customs, conversation on its community’s organisation, hand-craft techniques, the domestic and field-working tasks, traditional sports.
