They are accessible by motorized or paddle canoes, on foot or by small planes.
Activities included in our programs according to the Indigenous Community, the region, the duration of your stay:
• Daily-light and nocturnal walks and trips in motorized or paddle canoes, in the middle of the Amazonian primary or secondary forest to discover its flora : thousand year trees, medicinal plants, its fauna: birds, monkeys, dolphins, insects, amphibians and the forest noises…
• Building a raft and going down the river on a raft or a canoe.
• Swimming and traditional Piranha (or other) fishing in rivers or lakes
• Meeting a « shaman » (doctor of the Amazonian forest)
• Discovering the ethnic hand-craft, visit of the wild animal sanctuary

D2 - QUITO * EQUATOR MONUMENT or PANORAMIC CABLE-CAR: In the morning, city tour of Quito, visit to its Colonial and historic center, classified World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO and considerate the biggest and richest of Latin America. Then transfer to the Equator Line at 0’0’0 latitude that separates the North from the South Hemisphere. Typical lunch in option then visit to the well-known Equator Monument and its small Neo-colonial village. Visit to an ethno-scientific museum or instead, transfer to Quito cable-car station and ascent up to Pichincha volcano (up to 13779 ft ) that overlooks the beautiful city of Quito and all the Andean cordillera around. Night at the same hotel.
Early departure for going to Otavalo which is located in the province of Imbabura and characterized by picturesque lakes, magnificent sierras and terraced, patchwork farmlands.
